What I see looks good. IMO, a good FLL bronce grade CCC. KR refue

Yup, seen that one too on BC's latest update and now SOLD. FLL's finish usually doesn't hold very well, but that may be mostly due too improper storage. And these tend to absorb more readily into the zinc. Personally though, I like the "finish" on that badge.

Yes, I know I was the one who bought it. Amazing price and the 2nd CCC I got from them.

The finish looks fishy to me. Never seen such coloring on these clasps. But let us wait for our own ccc guru to comment on this little thing.

                  Hi guys,

I tend to agree with Daniel, the finish does look fishy to me too. Dark finish appears to be on the backplate too, not a good sign. But the pics aren't the best, any way to see some closeups?

If it doesn't have a hinge and catch, I'm not interested......well, maybe a little

                    Hi Tom,

I will get better pictures when it arrives. What color should the back plate be? Shouldn't they all be a dark black color? This one looks like a dark finish with the discolorations to the backplate maybe from age?

                      Hi Panzer,

Yes, in most cases CCC backplates were black, but FLL was an exception to this rule and their bronze clasps normally had a bronze-type color. Here is one of mine for you to compare. FLL also used bronze-colored backplates for their silver and gold clasps on occassion, but for the most part these were finished black.

The color of your bronze finish is not like originals IMO, for the backplate as well as the clasp itself. It looks more like a wax or something, but lets see some closeups first to be sure what we are looking at here.

I would not buy this badge IMHO.
