    APB on estand

How bout some opinions on this? You will have to do without size and weight though. If you are a pro those specs will be of no use to you anyways.

Altough a bit on the pricy side, the piece is very nice and 100% original.

Indeed a bit of a strange advertisement but I don't think the buyer has anything to fear in this case.
    Kind regards,
    Giel

I agree with Giel, looks like a fine original, but indeed quite pricey.

Regarding that solder area on the reverse, it looks to me to be a factory-done repair or reinforcement for a crack. We can see this same thing on LW bomber clasps, where soldered was used to reinforce a small crack in the badge after it was struck.

If it doesn't have a hinge and catch, I'm not interested......well, maybe a little

        Hi Tom,

        Hope you are well.

Ive always been told the factory done solder is quite frequent and I look for it as a good sign being that Iam scared to death of APBs.

          Original, but ridiculously priced.

I really love the "NO REDUCTIONS"/"don't ask questions" bit, pompous attitude.

Hi Sal, hope you and Sam are doing good!

Its a perfectly good late Type 2 with the Type 1 pin. its the type that was first produced by Juncker and the one thats depicted on the official pressrelease pic by Hoffmann. Its a late because you can see flooding/damage to the mold and the late pin + two holes only. Type 2 is the best detailed of the two Juncker types. As Tom says its been factory repaired which is seen i aprox. 1 out of 50 so not that normal. I know of very few Type 2 in the condition shown maybe a handfull and more rare than the later Type 1 (sorry for the naming but it was first after classifying these I figured out the chronology).

            So a rare badge indeed!

            Cheers Thomas

PS: I have no connections to the seller nor the badge in question!

              Badge

Thank you for all opinions to the question another member posted . Just for the record the comment in the listing were not mean to be pompus , it is just that in the past ive had way too many silly offers in my pm box , I really do not want to waist my time or anyone else with trade offers ect.. so i wanted to keep it with this type of wording to avoid non sense . As for the price i would say that is subject to opinion , The price is fair IMO , The factory repair was done well and the badge does not have a crack in it is it just fine . The bottom line is i collect only rare and quality objects and when i sell them i take that factor into consideration , If it were not already spoken for i would be happy to keep in in my collection , thanks to all for there respected opinions .

Actually i like this badge and think it definately original although i am not so much experienced on APB. But the crack should be there from the seam on the edge, which i constantly encounter with APB. However, the crack is regret for me as i am serious on condition. and the price is a bit higher. Overall it is very nice, and it's my first saw on this condition!!
what about another 2 ones? because the seller has 3 APB, knowing from his former thread.
