    Hi!

Here you see Heinrich Keese with an ( for me ) unusual kind of oakleaves. What is it?

AHH yes I remember, there was an article in the German OuE- Magazine, he got the OL in the filed and his men made aoakleave for him from a silver spoon. He was so proud about that, that he even wore it later.

    Best greetings

    Daniel

        Hi Paal,

it was written in the 1999 OuE Yearbook. He got the 805. OL on the 28.03.1945. Some of his men got 2 silver spoon from the Mayor of the towm Seelow and made this OL for him. In april 1945 he was in the Führerhauptquartier to get his real OL and to make some pictures. He and his special OL survived the war.

        Best regards

        Daniel

            Hi Paal,

The OuE- magazine (Orden und Ehrenzeichen) is the magazin of the Bund deutscher Ordenssammler (the German Orders collectors society) Normally they issue 6 magazins a year and a yearbook.

            Best regards

              Hello,

Yeps Daniel is totally correct on this one => the article was written by the late Willi Waldvogel ( he seemed to have some very good connections and did a wonderfull job in written over such abnormal pieces )
