    L/ 56 Iab

    Hello people,
I've found a L/ 56 marked infantry assault badge in silver that is puzzling me.
The bayonet has a rivet that is in the extencion of the line of the barrel of the rifle and the loop of the gunsling has a typical sort of buckel.
I've never seen a Funcke & Bruninghaus made IAB. Has somebody ever seen one?
I can't post my pic's, but maybe there is someone to wich I can send them to?

              Thanks!!

              Hello guy's,
Thanks for all the help. I have never encounterd this kind of IAB, but I'm glad that it pears to be a good one. I've bought this one on a fleamarket in Belgium near La Roche. the seller didn't knew what he was selling, so I got it for just 30 Euro's. Sometimes you need a bit of luck to keep carrying on with this hobby.

              Cheers:Peter
