    New frosted Mayer PAB

Just picked this guy up today from the post man. Been looking for one of these in this condition for a while. Thanks to Martin for ending my search. Hope you like it as much as I do.

If it doesn't have a hinge and catch, I'm not interested......well, maybe a little

Bought this from Martin (Aurora68 on forums) if its still same person your thinking of. But as far as price I was treated pretty fair IMO, otherwise I would have not bought it.

Thanks for all the kind words.

                    2 cents.

I wouldn't want that finish on an Infantry Assault because it made for good target practice, but it being a "panzer" badge, the guy must have felt a bit safer wearing it? Certainly a museum piece that looks as though it "time-warped" from WWII.

Well Dan, maybe you should buy these from your commander in chief then, he always gives the pieces he picks up for reasonable prices on the German shows practically away for free to his "collectors friends".

Am I right? Well, I think not...

Its cool man. No offense taken here. I didn't think it was the same guy you mentioned. As a side note, compared to what I've seen the bronze mayers go for on estand, I think I got a great deal for a nice not as common silver one.

                          Regards,

                          Dave
