    Hi Nick,

I would be wary of this one. There are a couple of things that don't look right. And, there are known fakes of this variety.

The good JFS PAB 25 is normally "indented" or scooped out on the back of the swastika, where this one looks flat.

JFS badges like this usually have the cut-out holes between the eagle's legs and wings.

The number plate doesn't look right. The top edge of the numeral 2 is usually higher than the top edge of the 5, making the numbers look just slightly "tilted."

Can't see some finer details from the quality of the images. Check out the one shown in the War Badges section of the main site http://dev.wehrmacht-awards.com/war_...gallery/25.htm

    Regards,

Thank you very mutch for your reply.
Now I know what to look for.

        Hi Nick,

the badge you signal have a lot of errors in made, so it's easy to see it's a fake, but in the recent time they made fakes very well done, without this trubbles, so if you find a numbered badge is not enough to look the right points that gregwalden has write.

make attenction to buy numbered badges.

        Regards

          Panzerkampf mit EZ 25

          Hi there

well I would not go for this one. I dont like the eagle and just to tell you that a real PAB for 25 combat sorties costs defenately more than the actuell bid of 45 Euro. The normal PAB costs already some 130 Euro. A PAB 25 in bad condition is offered on Weitzes web site for 900 Euro so 45 Euro for the piece showed is ridicelous. To compare I post my piece in 25er in bronze.

          Cheers from Switzerland
