Help Needed with IDing found medals

    Greetings,

I found a number of WWII era German medals and paper items in a trunk that I recently bought at a Queens Day junk market here in Holland. Based on some of the information I have been able to find online, I have already determined that a few of them are fakes. The others I am not so sure about.

Since these things are not up my collecting alley (I am really into old baseball cards), I am looking to sell these things. But I don't want to go off half cocked and list these things as real if I am not sure. Therefore this post.

The things that I am looking for assistant on seem to be ...

    1 - Tag der Arbeit 1935 Tinnie
2 - WWI medal bar with iron cross seconf class 1914 & Front Cross
    3 - West Wall Medal
4 - Police long service award.

    5 - Eagle Lapel Pin

    6 - War Merit Medal

7 - Infantry Assault Badge with W.H. on the back

    8 - Crimean Campaign Shield

    9 - Black Wound Badge

    10 - Mothers Cross

11 - Iron Cross Second Class

12 - War Merit Cross 2nd Class with Swords

13 - War Merit Cross 2nd Class without Swords

14 - War Merit Cross 1st Class with Swords

    15 - Winter Help booklet with hitler on the cover<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /><o></o>

    16 - Waffen SS postcard

Front and back images can be found at http://www.xs4all.nl/~mmcgrail/.

Any information or advise that any of you can give me on these would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks in advance,

    Mike McGrail

      reply to chris

Chris, my account type does not allow me to post pictures on the forum.

Are you getting the site but not the pictures or are you not getting the site at all?

        Pictures worked fine for me.

All items look fine, aside from the PC..
But to be sure close ups will be needed..
I'm no expert, but there are some here....

I agree, all fine but I would not know about that postcard. Looks fishy though.
          Cheers, Frank
