    Silver Close Combat badge authentic?

Picked this up in a grouping yesterday, owner routinely went to auctions that marked the items in black felt tip pen,,,, only markings are A on one side and S on the other, pin is in full silver finish,,,just spots remaining on the badge itself. I feel good about this one,,,,Opinions please

From these pics I would have reservations with this particular piece, I feel it could be a postwar made piece by that maker (they kept producing these after the war). But wait for those who know more than I do, perhaps I am wrong and yours is all ok.

      Cheers

        Hi Steve,

Perfectly fine, original Souval CCC in my opinion. Typical wartime crimping and hardware, just not much finish remaining unfortunately.

If it doesn't have a hinge and catch, I'm not interested......well, maybe a little
