The clasp misses the little lines on the arrow, which makes it suspicious. Do you have bigger pics and close ups of the clasp?

Ahhh, so the little stripes HAVE been there. Good to see that.

It looks like the arrow may have been buffed or rubbed to not only erase those horizontal lines but also give it that color.

I don't think I've ever seen such a big a disk back on a clip, any chance of a close up please,

I give it a .., lines were there and the needle looks Ok to me..

Yes, after I have seen the lines on the arrow, I am also convinced. The catch disc does not worry me. Some zinkers have pretty large ones (Osangs e.g.).
