A friend just bought a bunch of medals and would like to know if they are OK. I have not seen this style of close combat clasp before. The back plate is very thin and very shiny.

Hi Gary,
Very nice, original AGMuK. These are the most common type of CCC you will find, known as the "large font" AGMuk CCCs (and shown as type 1.1.1. for those with the CCC book). Nice original example in excellent condition.
