I can only agree, a nice original S&L Army Flak Badge.

If it doesn't have a hinge and catch, I'm not interested......well, maybe a little

Very interesting...I have never seen a semi-hollow S&L Army Flak and this one looks like the reverse has the recoil section imprinted in negative relief. Has anyone else ever seen this?

Thats why I posed the question,I bought Marc Garlasco Flak badge book last year and it fits all the criteria for S&L in the book, except for that semi hollow back.John

I concur with Nick. The negative impressions on the reverse of the recoil cylinders are not a typical feature of S&L Heer Flaks. The classic, textbook S&L has a flat reverse surface. Otherwise, the hardware etc. on this badge look good and look to my eye consistent with an original S&L. I'd be curious as to Marc's opinion.
