I am having good thoughts about your IAB.

A nice Schauerte & Hohfeld (S&H) "Daisy" hollow zink variant. The lighting makes it difficult for me to determine bronze or silver grade, but leaning toward silver as it appears there are remnants in the low spots of the wreath. Hardware looks original to the badge.

          Very nice addition!

          Congrats,
          Eric

Thanks, under a 10x loupe it's is silver over a base medal like bronze or brass.

Well, then perhaps it is buntmetal which makes it even better. The way the hinge is attached made me think it was zink.

                Regards,
                Eric
