    PABs for the e-Stand

Just purchased a small collection that included some PABs. Just wanted to get them checked here before listing them. Any comments on originality, makers or pricing are appreciated.
    Thanks, Doug

I don't like the S&L PAB, with this round wire catch, IMO fake.

              Hi Hans

Which S&L PAB, If you refer to number 2, that is not considered S&L, but unknown.

              regards
              Graeme

Yes, you are right, I can't see the head well, but it still a fake.

I agree, it does looks strange. Not the normal set up seen on these and what appears to be a pitted reverse.

The AS imo has had a catch repair

                  regards

I'm not a big fan of the RRS either, can you post some close ups of the hardware please?

The Juncker set up PAB is indeed no good.

And the hollow AS is a rare badge but the catch is repaired (as often with these)
                      Kind regards,
                      Giel

I can second that on the second Pab shown. It is trying to be an S&L but the hardware setup on it is wrong and has a very rounded look to it. I would pass on this one to be honest.

It is not trying to be an S&L design, It appears to be a copy of an unknown maker. Check out the reverse profile if you are still not sure.

                            regards

                              Hi guys,

That PAB is a copy of the Unknown Maker #1 in Phil DeBock's PAB book, page 216. Its not trying to be an S&L, they just happen to have similar designs.

But ultimately I agree that its a cast fake.

If it doesn't have a hinge and catch, I'm not interested......well, maybe a little
