    GAB - Little W, Different Weights

    I have been looking fo a nice marked GAB for a while and managed to get one from Skip (Thanks Skip) then would you believe it, a couple of days later an identical one pops up locally.

    The only difference in them being the thicknes/weight. one is 35.0g and the other 31.1g.

    As an aside do we know who the maker "W" is of these.

      Hi Rob,


      My "w" marked GAB hits 33gr on my not so exact scale and would fall in the middle of your badges, nothing to worry about IMO.

      Based upon the same small "w" found on the massive buntmetall Wurster PAB it's fairly save to assume that this would have been the maker.

          Hi Guys,


          They are heavy little buggers but the high weight IMO is consistent with the high weight and weight differences encountered on the zinc Wurster PAB's.

          Lightest Wurster in zinc I have ever encountered was 32 grams and the heaviest 38 grams. Most other zinc PAB's are situated in a range from 26 to 32 grams
