    Cupal GAB

    Hi guys,

    new addition to my GAB family,cupal example by unknown maker #7 in GAB book.

                      this one is light as a feather and cooper showing indicates that this is cupal example.

                        Hi Eddie,

                        Beautiful example, very nice condition.

                        I would tend to agree with your assessment on it being CUPAL. Not only do you see the copper layer on the obverse, but you can see the crevaces in the reverse which is very typical of Cupal GABs.

                        You could also weigh it, should be about 15 grams if it is CUPAL (if it were zink it would be more like 30 grams).

                            Hi Tom,

                            thank you for your comment,my digital scale is broken but i have zinc example as well and there is no need for the scale by just holding them the difference is big in weight and like you also mention copper is another evidence this badge being CUPAL
