    Zinkrot/pest of badges and medals

    Hi Guys.
I would like you to read this article that Steve Kahn wrote on the 'Axis History Forum' about zinkrot/pest, preservation and maintenance of wartime badges.
Steve is the brother of association member Keifer Kahn, this is such an interesting story that could be very usefull for new collectors and even old ones.
I've read it with much pleasure and hope you will too. it was an answer on a question from a forum member of a pab with zinkpest.
    Regards. Den

      Hi Den,

Thanks for posting this. Very good and comprehensive explaination. Based upon what I read in the past I already figured it out a bit, but being absolutely ignorant when it comes to chemistry myself, it's always nice to read information from somebody who understands the subject.

Dont want to be picky, but Brennlaq is not a German word, only the first half of it. The correct term is Brennlack.
        Cheers, Frank
