Bronze 'Combat Clasp in the Original LDO Sealed Bags'...

There are several of these on a dealers web site that I have recently been watching. I was wondering if anyone has heard of these before, opened them, or considered purchasing.

To me that is a steep price for an unknown.

I've seen these before and personally wouldn't pay any money for an "unknown" badge of any kind. I once bought a ccc that had a cellophane wrapper and it had been opened so I knew what I was getting and I did not IMO pay any extra for the wrapper.

    Regards,
    Frank

      Hi,

these are always a gamble. Some of them a absolutely mint, though the majority of these ccc´s is in a bad condition. So buying one of these is like buying a lottery ticket. I would not buy this piece for 800$. They were part of a hoard find in 2010, so there are still a few around for half the price.

      Regards,

I completely agree with Daniel and Frank, these are part of the hoard find and although completely packed up nice and tight, the few that I have seen unwrapped had most of the finish evaporated from them.

If it doesn't have a hinge and catch, I'm not interested......well, maybe a little
