The 25 and 50 PABs from GB

    HI all,

I´ve had a few requests to post pics of my GB numbered PABs so here they are.
Both have been to Detlev and received his approval and CoA so I am happy with them.

          Hi Skipy,

After what was posted recently these for me are the first GB's I would feel comfortable with. Finish and detailing is just very good and the aging pattern convincing. Also the depth of the reverse stamping is much better than on some others recently posted.

Skip is that a piece of waste material stuck in the right swas arm of the "50"?

            Hi Phil,

Never noticed that piece of material in the Swaz arm must be getting short sighted.
I don´t have the badge with me at the moment but I will have a look this evening what that is.

Skip do you ever look at your badges after buying them and locking them away in your bank safe

To me that would be a good sign because it's a typical production fault that I already encountered on quite a few zinc badges.

                Phil,

you obviously know me to good. In fact you are not so wrong, once I have one all my interest is devoted to finding the next one that I don´t have. Its a crazy hobby!

                  Period behind the G

                  Skip,

How prominent is the raised dot/period behind the "G" on your 25 numbered badge? The reason I ask is, that I have a 25 numbered GB tank assault with only a trace of the raised dot, which one of the members attributed as the result of a dirty die. Is your's like this as well, and the dot can be seen clearly in hand, or, is it just not visible in the photo?

                  Cheers,
                  James

Nice badges, Skip. Our own chief Seba has a killer 50 PAB by GB!
                    Cheers, Frank

Nice examples, even if unfortunately 25 was broken to the right wreath ( often find this break in that point ) I like it .

                      thanks for share

How does this one compare? I think it is good but would like another set of eyes to check it out.
                        Thanks

The reverse. You can just make out the . after the B.

                            Don,
The photos are not the best but it looks good so far. Could I please have a photo of the shear marks on the side if possible. Thanks, Ed
