      This is an old fake with the W. Hobacher mm on the reverse.

          I believe this fake is called the "Claw Ball". That is the best way to tell this is not right.
          Here is one I have.

            Where does it get the name "Claw Ball" from? Sounds like it should be obvious but I dont see it.

              Some of these nicknames are not always intuitive. I am waiting for the "Numb Nuts" IAB.

                    This one is clearer. Other things are wrong with your badge. This is just to show the ball aspect.

                      I can see it now from that pic, is the one on the left supposed to be a good one? I have seen this feature before, was abit hard to tell from the first pic. The first thing I noticed about the badge was that the maker mark did not match the design of the eagle itself though. Going by that detail it looks more like a MK 1 IAB (The original badge of the thread)
