Army Flak Badge - opinions please

    Greetings....

I have been offered this award.

It looks OK to me, however, I am NOT an expert on Army Flak badges.

I do know there are STACKS of vry good reproductions though.....

What does everyone think. A good period example?

    Thank you, WilloW

Excellent - thank you for the positive comments

I was slightly concerned about the pin, but being a zinc award it was normal to use tombac or other metal pins (assuming the pin is tombac)

                  All the best, WilloW

                      Deumer Army Flak Badge

Does anyone know if Deumer make an Army Flak Badge (and maker marked it)? I saw one at a local show this morning and it looks good but I know this badge has been well reproduced. Any information would be appreciated.

Deumer!?>@# ABSOLUTELY NOT! Get the flak book by Garlasco, and his follow-up in the Military Collector Magazine.

                              Hi Fred,

I agree with Nick, Deumer is not a known maker of the Heer Flak badge. I think one popped up a while back, but we were all in agreement it was a reproduction. Did you happen to have any pics of the badge you saw at the show?

                              Thanks
