    Help with Eagle

Apologies if this is posted in the wrong place. I can't seem to find this anywhere, looks like it might be from a hat. Aluminum, no marks, any help with ID is greatly appreciated
    Thank you, Udo

        caution

be careful if you decide to mount it on a cap. The pin bases are very fragile and will pop right off if you bend the pins. Will need to hold the base of the pins with padded needle nose pliers.

        Super nice device!

Thank you for the advise! I do not plan on mounting it, just wondering what-when it was from. A treasure I found that my Dad brought back from the war.
          Thanks, Udo

            Thanks, Udo

That's "priceless"! Now that is what I call a true "war souvenir". Once it leaves your hands, the meaning is gone. Nice piece to hang onto since it does not "break the bank." You will not stare at it when you need food on the table!

When I was a kid, I "played" with these things. I recalled moving a pin on a similar device, and "BOING" the wire pin came right off. Militaria was dirt cheap!
