    Pillow-Crimp Heer Flak

    Hi Guys,

Here is a badge that I purchased recently. I wanted one of these pillow-crimp Heer Flaks ever since the mid-70s, when I first saw one pictured in Angolia's book. Now, at last, I have one. The badge has great detail and I think it is in nice condition. Looks like the beak of the eagle got smooshed a bit but otherwise it looks perfect.

59.92mm high x 44.54mm wide and weight is 24.2 grams.

    Best regards,
    Tom

Both excellent examples and my favorite Heer flak by far.
I'm still looking for one myself.
        Thanks for sharing.

I agree 2 good ones...still a Vienna Design but I do like their choice in crimping.

          Regards,
          Chris G.

Amazing how this variation always has such great finish remaining.

Very nice addition Tom, glad you were finally able to find one of these after a long search.

Its interesting to see the same tiger-stripe pattern to the finish we often see on the pillow-crimp IABs & PABs as well.

                        Tom
If it doesn't have a hinge and catch, I'm not interested......well, maybe a little
