The hooks been twisted. How could that happen. Those artsy Fartsy photos seem to be, to hide , rather than share photos. If you have nothing to hide , then show the badge as we all do, clear, and sharp ..so they can be seen easily. Otherwise we will understand to just not bother looking at your stuff, as the way this one looks in the photos..it doesn't look original to me . If you cant get it , look at other threads , and see what i mean..thanks ........i think.

Hide what? Think your a bit paranoid. I have 3 kids to feed so a mega camera is not a priority. I wont mind if you dont look at my pics. Regards

              Hi,

I think, that it's a good one. And yes, this Wurster variant a very heavy IAB about 38 grams.

Here are some pictures from my IAB book for comparison.........

              Best regards,
              Gabor

Yes, original zinc Wurster, not an easy to find maker.

Thank you very much. That is a great help Was it an early war badge seeming as it used such heavy material? That is one excellent book!

Early variants were made from tombak material.

I agree, a nice original early Wurster. Quite a desirable IAB, very nice.

If it doesn't have a hinge and catch, I'm not interested......well, maybe a little

Yes, a very nice original IAB by Wurster. A very good start for your first/only IAB.

                        Congrats,

I saw this thread earlier today. I did like it from what I saw, but did not want to throw my comment out there. Nice find, first one I have seen to pop up here since I started to participate in these forums.
