2 RS iabs for review

Hi
Would like to run these two past you for opinions please.
Badge with large RS purchased from a member some time ago and I am pretty sure its ok. the small RS marked badge was purchased from a very respected dealer some time ago-Difficult to photograph as it is so bright.

the RS mark on the second one, is it RS or R.S. with periods? If it has the periods, it looks just like mine

I had a IAB RS a couple of years ago and the markings looks like this

I could be wrong but I think I read somewhere that some badges from this maker (maybe not the IAB, could be another badge) have very feint periods between the letters or none at all due to a clogged die. With that said, I dont care too much for the silver one.

I purchased the silver from a well known dealer and forum sponsor in August 2006 for 120 euros-Would it be in order to direct him to this thread and look for a refund after all this time?

I agree the reverse looks "tacky" in the first pics, and I don't think the lighting helps in the other pics..

The head looks strange also.

I know many RS IABs show up with hardly any finish remaining but from time to time you do see better finishes..
