If you refer to the die "B" from Franks book, I think If you look again, you will find this GAB is closer in obverse details to die "A". The finish of this GAB has probably helped make your decision.

Although overall the appearance of this badge looks very period with the finish and bubbling, I find some of the leaf details and rough edges seen on the reverse a little strange..

Anybody else think that pin is very thick?

If any guys have similar rough finished reverse examples can you please post here.
