PAB Silver EWE

    Thank you Giel and Eddie. I read in the PAB book, that the RRS and the EWE markers used a cooper colored base coating before applying the finish. I can see this cooper colored, when i keep this EWE in my hands.

      Congratulations Gabenn on a very hard to find PAB. I'm glad the others OK it. The better pictures told so much more.

        Just my opinion here, it looks like a ground dug bronze example to me. I belive that a copper coated badge wether it be ground dug or other wise would not look as this example does. Reguardless it is a good example wether it be bronze or silver. Albeit, it is very close to relic condition and not something that most would want.

          It does look original, but those close up pics show that the obverse has had a terrible life, a lot of damaged areas.
