Hey all. I saw a Silver, Vienna design - Pillow Crimp IAB for sale and was wondering if someone could tell me if there is a maker attributed to them? Or perhaps there are multiple makers? The description says that is what they are referred to but they are never marked.
Most of my collection consists of crosses but some of these badges are quite nice as well. Thomas has kindly helped me in the past with CCCs and I now of course can take him with me to every show thanks to his book
Since IABs and PABs have never been a major focus of mine I never purchased the books. I am re-thinking that strategy, if anything just for the knowledge they provide.
That being said, any general input on these would be cool. I always prefer the hollow badges and generally also enjoy the dark deep bronze finish to the silvers, although this particular Vienna design IAB IS silver (and a beauty from what I can tell!).
