    Pab - Pab 25 - Pab 50

I found these badges this morning an a local Fleamarket in Antwerp.
The were found by a young boy just after the war and the son was selling this stuff from his father.
What do you think about this medals?
It is not my type of collection.. so please
    Luc

      Dear Luc,

The bronze RS regular PAB is post war.

The G.B. numbered badges are always difficult to judge by not so detailed pictures alone. Some people like them, some dislike them (generally speaking). There are originals of these but I am sure by now a good share of excellent post war copies of these are by now accepted as the real thing. A dangerous maker for numbered PABs.

The boy story in context with the post war Souval badge just add to the suspicions.
      Cheers, Frank

On the GB, there once was some discussion over the rivets I recall.........these 'splattered' ones being not favoured to a degree by some ???

        I wouldn't know

        Kind regards,

        Marcus

In my opinion, these rivets are not consistent with pre 45 G.B. abadge construction.

Isn't there a flaw in the eagle on period GB numbred badges?

The opnes posted have a flaw in the swastica, if you look close enough.
Luc, can you post us some close ups?
              Pieter.

The closeups would be good. I have GB 25 and 50 PABs. Both are with Detlevs CoA. If we get some good closeups we could compare.

                  Hi,

if I must choose, I would like better 25's then 50's. even if photos are little 25's looks not bad, I don't like 50.
