Backs, one of the GAB is an Assmann and the other a Wernstein.

Very nice Angel, (I didn't know the postal sevice worked on Saturdays in Spain ? )

I love the TDB thats a very nice one, and the mid catch Wernstein is always nice to have as well........on that one though the bayonet ? Why does the incuse 'bit' of the bayonet ( I don't know the correct term) seem to interrupeted 3/4 of the way along ?

It looks okay, it's that I've the two of these and not seen that before on a Wernstein ???

      Kind regards,

      Marcus

Actually I think they don't work, simply. The postman just leave a small paper and I must go to pick upp at their office, but...

Yes, I have seen the bayonet strange feature and find here a close upp

            Hi Marcus and Angel......

......just so that you'll know in the future:

That 'incuse bit' of a bayonet, as so quaintly put by Marcus, is called the blood groove; at least that is what it's known as here in the States.

            Regards

That it's Bruce we call it the same over here.........couldn't think of the darn terminology. I never wanted to get that close to enemy when I was in the army........I'd have been more inclined to surrender !!

The two Wernsteins I have, look/appear to come from different dies, I just found it interesting to this difference, I've also noticed there are different sizes in the maker mark ?

No revelations from me, I'm just a novice learning.

              Kind regards,

              Marcus

Both are very nice. The flaw on the Wernstein might have been caused by a piece of waste material in the die.
