'der Windhund' badge?

Gents,
I would like to find out your opinion on this tinnie. It probably has something to do with 116.panzer Division 'der Windhund'. Does such badge ever existed and if yes, is there any chance that this one is a genuine war time badge?
Dimensions are 28,7 mm x 20,9 mm, weight: 2,50 g.
