    I know less than -0- about these bad boys, but in looking through a bunch of threads they look OK to me, but they are not in my area??

            Hi Greg,

            Expanding your collecting areas I see Be careful, IAB & GABs can be VERY addicting my friend.

            All three are not originals, and the Hobacher is in excellent condition. The Souval GAB has toned with age giving it a bronzish color IMO. And the other IAB is an unmarked ShuCo design, but not in the best condition.

              I also have a smirking GAB that has developed somewhat of a bronze tone. I think it's something just by chance

                              I agree with Tom's assessment of the aging finish on the GAB.

                              However, keep in mind that there were absolutely no bronze GAB's manufactured and issued during the 3rd reich era.
