Is possible someone to receive the close combat clasp in bronze without awarded first or even after the war badge of his service, like the IAB?

It would be extremely unlikely that anyone would qualify for the CCC (15 days hand-to-hand fighting) without having first qualified for an assault badge (3 assaults on different days). Of course, criteria/definitions etc. varied depending on whether the man was wounded etc. but you get the general drift. The only exception I know of was that I believe that late in the war (early '45?) it was apparently indicated that any German soldier captured by the enemy who successfully escaped and made it back to German lines would receive the CCC in Bronze on account of the escape. This was aimed primarily at Germans captured on the western front. In general terms, the CCC in Silver equated to the EK1 and the CCC in Gold to the DK in Gold.
