Could it be possible that the zimmermann IAB is refinished? Looks like it has some fingerprints on the reverse

      Hi Jurgen

      Nice badges

I guess the two hollow badges you could class as a little more special, being better quality material. The FZS being quite common, and the CW with the repair already mentioned.
The maker mark on your CW appears to have taken a knock and the left side of the "W" has moved inwards.

Have you checked the FZS finish, it looks a little too good compared to the set up, and there are a couple of fingerprints on it..The pics do not show the finish very clearly, so it might be perfectly fine.

      cheers

I start typing, then have to get my littlun to sleep which took 30 minutes, then after finishing typing Rene has mentioned the prints also....I think there are original finished badges with prints by the way..

        cheers

That Deumer is choice! I like the juncker too and can only echo the other comments on the other two. Nice haul!

Thank you all for your comments. I took the Zimmermann IAB to work and examined it under the Microscope cranking it up to x30 power. Well what I can see yes there are fingerprints and yes the finish is messed with. I also had a friend look at it to just to confirm what I was seeing. Once again I feel like I got burned. I just don't know why people would go through something like this to fool others? Well this is what it is. Again Thank you all for your help and feedback! JME
