    General Assault Badge: Opinions?

    Is the General Assault Badge in the link below authentic or not? If authentic, can anyone give an idea as to when it might have been made?

    Firstly It is always best to upload pics to this forum, so that they are not lost.

    Klaus' pics are usually not the best, and for detailed analysis you should ask for much better pics. Saying that, there definitely appear to be some issues with the badge..

          What are the problems with the badge? Doesn't it cost money to upload pictures to the forum, by the way?

            Yes it's cost money to upload i believe $25 a year but it save you a lot more because you wont buy fake items
            Im not a gab collector so i dont got a cleu about the badge

                  I THOUGHT THAT IF YOU DID NOT PAY YOUR YEARLY SUBSCRIPTION TO THE SITE THEN YOU COULD NOT SEE ANY PCTURES ANYWAY?
                  The GAB could possibly be a common RK type but the photos are too poor to tell conclusively, there seem to be a few odd casting things going on!

                      As already pointed out, it is a cheap price to pay for the knowledge we all gain from here.

                      Regarding the badge, with such good quality fakes out there, it is hardly worth trying to analyse the pics because there are some areas where you can't see any detail.
                      Saying that, if you look at the reverse, the top four cutouts, show a multitude of strange cuts, and it is hard to see if the catch is crimped or soldered.

                        I agree with Graeme, without better pictures, this one looks odd and I would not buy it.
