    F&R silver PAB opinions please

    Hi Guys

I have been told that this one may be a copy, I can't find anything wrong with it myself, finish looks good also. All opinions greatly appreciated and Happy New Year!

      Hi Patrick,

Can you do some shots of the hardware? Generally I like what I see as far as details go, but something about the reverse hardware stikes me odd. I am away from my files at the moment, but aren't F&R catchplates more rectangular shaped??

If it doesn't have a hinge and catch, I'm not interested......well, maybe a little

        Hi Tom,

yes they are. But this looks like a believable variation to me.

I have two, low mm'd bronze and mid mm'd silver. They have two different catch plates.

              Hi guys,

Thanks for the info on the round catchplate, you are completely right. Looking in the PAB book, I only see rectangular plates on the "Low Maker Mark" badges, but in the text description Phil mentions that round plates can also be encountered. I don't have 1 single round catchplate F&R PAB in my files, so thanks for the information Daniel, Eddie and rbminis.

              Nice badge Patrick.

I agree,I have two F&R (low and central mm) but the catch plate not typical to these.
For example this is my "low mm" but you see,the catch like that in the "middle mm"
