IAB Hollow back - opinions sought

    Hello,
This is not my usual area of collecting but I have picked up a IAB hollow back and I would be grateful for any information about it. Is it a genuine example and any further information would be gratefully received?

I am most grateful to anyone who takes the time to respond to this question.
    Regards,
    Andy

It's a good B.H Mayer and I do believe the catch has been repaired

            Hi Andy,

Looks like a later war BH Mayer in zinc, with a repaired catch.

Glad you found the right subforum for this one

If it doesn't have a hinge and catch, I'm not interested......well, maybe a little

Thanks gentlemen. I really appreciate your help.

Do you think it is the original catch in situ or a replacement catch?
              Regards,
              Andy

                Hi Andy,

Its a total replacement IMO, Mayer used a totally different style.
