    I got this from an online auction the auctioneer had a lot of stuff from the estate of a deceased veteran I won a few of the items ...

    Hi Luis,

    Very nice original of this rare award, congrats on this great find. Its not uncommon to find these early, fragile aluminum badges in such a state of repair.
