    Another Stuttgart PAB

    Hi Guys,

Here is another Stuttgart find that I wanted to share with you.

    It's a wonderfull bronze buntmetall cut-out swas (7wheel) PAB.

After looking at 755 PAB's (most of them fake) I almost missed this one. Due to German legislation the swas had a sticker on it and at first glance I took it for a buntmetall F&R Lucky for me I took a closer look.

It's an almost mint example that allowed me to complete the first pattern of the most delicate of all PAB's.

    reverse

Just when looking at the previous scan I noticed that the guy responsible for the hand finishing seems to have been a little over enthusiastic and filled a part of the cupola away

Thanks Chet they are without a doubt one my favorite PAB's

And almost forgot the revers scan, here it is

the guy with the file for sure was over enthusiastic, just look how he filed away on the opening between the turret and the wreath

                    Hi Tom,

No, the maker of these PAB's is unknown.

The best I can do is make and educated guess towards the designer and as far as I'm concerned the guy who design this badge might also be responsible for the F&R design. However it's for sure not an F&R badge since this company produced all possible PAB variants themself.
