    PAB in Bronze

    Hi
I'm not a medal guy. But I got this badge recently and thought I would share it with you. I think it's a pretty nice exsample.

    Hi AJ,

Looks like a good sc Juncker but the copies of these are so good that we would need to see the back to be 100% sure.

      Dear AJ,

I would strongly guess this is the original you have, since the fake -as good as it may seem- is also easily recognizable from the front because of the weakly formed oak leaves. Fake sc Junkcer pictured below to compare

        Dear Frank,

You're correct that's the easy one to recognize. However at Stuttgart I found another one. It was for sale with a lot of other fakes for €15, still regretting I didn't buy it for educational purposes.

It had much better tracks and there was no opening under the turret running all the way to the wreath, the biggest give aways on the obverse of the copie you posted.

However I agree with you that AJ's example is a good one.

          Back side

          Hi
          Thanks for the replies.
To the badge, it was given to me from Danish WSS volunteer and former member of the SS Pz. Gren. Regt. 1 "Totenkopf" along with the award document.
Here is a photo of the backside. No makers mark
