The name comes from the "Grandmaster of PAB" and has something to do with his other passion .

Just has to do with the high quality. No attributed maker, yet!!

Just as I suspected all along. A fictitious name, dreamed up
by some individual's powerful imagination. I always wondered
how the name of a car got connected up with a german badge.

Another mystery solved.

Sorry for the confusion

Anyway it's better to give badges by unknown makers a name so everybody knows what you're talking about just like the "daisy" PAB.

On the other hand it's not completely fictitious, Prof. Porsche did quite some development work on the Panther & Tiger tanks and on some other modells if I'm not mistaken

Did Juncker make a Panzer badge? I see them called that on this Forum but other dealers and collectors say they did not make them. Does anybody have a Panzer badge marked "Juncker"? Is that a nickname too?

Hi Chris,

Juncker did not only develope the PAB they also made the first production badges.

However untill now we never found a Juncker marked PAB. The so called Juncker PAB is named that way because it features the typical Juncker reverse hardware which leads us to believe that Juncker might have produced it. However there is no proof. For all we know the Porsche PAB might have been produced by Juncker.

Ferdinand Porsche-worked on Tiger I, his design was rejected because of complicted petrol-electric drive the 90 completes chassis were redisigned into the "Ferdidand" also known as the Elephant...
Porsche worked on design for Tiger II again his version was rejected because of Petrol-electric drive and shortage of copper...the first 50 produced Hencshel Tiger II used the Porsche designed/built turrents...
He worked on suspension change for Jagdtiger but again his design was rejected..
Hitler wanting to keep Porsche busy and away from other projects put him in charge of the super tank project the "Maus" two protypes where made...
