Again I am with no books, but I'm pretty sure that's a good 1.1.1.

Note that there is a crack near the catch and on the wing of the eagle

Why do you say late war? Based on when the award was instituted (42/43) or something else?

You're right, but the CCC was produced by the end of war. Sometimes you find clasps, particularly of this CCC design with cracks "Spannungsrissen". The reason for this cracks are the poor zinc quality due to shortages. That's a sign for late war produced awards.
