From these pictures I can't say. Need better close-ups of the hardware and front of the badge. From these photo's I'd say to much lack of detailling.

By these pics I don't like it. The back looks too soft, almost looks like lead. I also don't like the looks of the snakes, as was stated earlier, not good detail.
If you can get weight and measurements that would help.

              Hi Kyle,

Much better closeups are needed to be sure, but I like what I see so far. In my opinion, an original but really need better pics and closeups of the hardware to be sure.

If it doesn't have a hinge and catch, I'm not interested......well, maybe a little

                    Hello Kyle,
                    I don't like it.
There looks to be moulding defects on the top of the badge.
As mentioned before it looks as though it is made in some sort of soft base metal rather than the hard zinc I would have expected
                    All the best
                    Doug

That badge looks like a fine original to me. Good detailing and the fault by the sword hilt is common on original badges- you sometimes find them with factory repairs to that area

                        Thanks gents

I would like to thank all of you for your input....as usual not conclusive nonetheless I would err on original, although these usually always engender differing opinions by the very nature of the badge.

Better pictures needed, but I am more positive than negative, this far.
