    M.K.1 IAB opinions please

I picked up this M.K.1 marker infantry assault badge. I would like to hear opinions about this badge. I am hoping this one is good.
    Regards

    Hi David,

A very nice original, no problems at all. Nice bronze finish too

If it doesn't have a hinge and catch, I'm not interested......well, maybe a little

Thank you very much Tom for fast response, much appreciated.

Is there anything new about manufacturer as far as I know that the initials M.K are an abbreviation for AGMuK (Arbeitsgemeinschaft Metall und Kunstoff) and number represents manufacturer number 1. (numbers up to 8).

        Hi David,

I think you nailed it. Sadly we aren't sure who the makers are behind the MK numbers, we can only guess that they were all located in Gablonz. One of the last great mysteries to be solved in our hobby

          Hi David,

Indeed original and in excellent condition. It seems often that the finish on MK IABs has not withstood the test of time so well. Yours is a very nice example.

          Congrats,
          Eric
