    Two Heer Flak Badges

Hello Forum members. I am looking to buy a flak badge but have some concerns about these two badges. Opinions would be great on these badges. Sorry, these are the best pictures I can get.
    Thanks,
    Eric

                  Hi Eric,

IMO you have every reason to be concerned. I wouldn't thouch these badges. The egg shaped eagles head, together with the soft contours when looked upon from the reverse is the best give away for the randomly available "copies"

                  Philippe

PS there is one golden rule that never failed me in relation to heer flak badges "if the eagle doesn't scare you, better walk away

                      Contours?

                      Hi there Philippe,

What do you mean by the soft contours on the reverse??

                        Hi George,

That effect is most visible on the reverse pic of Erics first badge. The reverse view looks a little swollen with rounded soft egdes. Most likely the result of casting. The wreat outlining on an original looks sharp and crisp.

                        Hope this helps.
