    IAB on Niemann's Listing

    Hi Fellow members,

What do you guys think of this particular IAB's maker? It reminds me of Carl Wild. Though the guide marks for the hinge is a little different. I can't speak for the eagle from the angleof the scan.

    Hello gentelments!

I think that the manufacturer of this IAB is Frank & Reif.

        Hi Roman,

Do you mind posting additional scans of your badge. Thank you very much.

          Hi Guys,

          Strange, very strange
Roman makes the link based upon the two very distinctive guidelines to the left and right of the hinge guide line, which are indeed typical for F&R IAB's, but the design of the IAB posted by Wunhur isn't the same IMO.

Just focus on the fat eagles paws and on the curvation of the right lower oakleave next to the wreath band. These badges for sure didn't come from the same die

So what do we have here, two different F&R IAB's designs?

I share your view on the right oak leaves Philippe. Wish I got a scan of the eagle's head, will get it here when the badge reaches me. I'm not so sure what maker's IAB is this, from the looks of it, it might be a F&R. lets see what the other guys think. Someone here must have come across such a badge.

                Hello Gentelments!

                Wunhur,I couldn't post IAB F&R without Philippe's permition.
He post it by his own.

Philippe, I do agree with you that Wunhur's IAB is another project of IAB F&R.
Of course I can mistake moreover that my IAB is different from Wunhur's.

                So your opinions,gentelments.

                        Hi Roman,

I Would agree that the one you posted is a perfect match to mine. For some reason just like with PAB's F&R thought it was cool to produce half of there badges with mm and half without it

Let's wait untill Wunhur can post better pics of his badge to determin if this is possible an other F&R pattern.

Neat Badge you got there Roman! This is the first time I seen these variations of F&R IAB myself too. Guess I got alot to learn & see from you fellas Perhaps F&R IABs takes after their PABs which has so many variants as well. If I remembered correctly, Niemann described the badge to be vaulted like Roman's example. Hope I get the badge soon so that we can get to the bottom of this soon!
