Need some help please

Hello Gentlemen,

I am wondering if anyone can posts some pics of eithier a Long range day fighter clasp or Short range day fighter clasp in silver buntmedal that is convexed.

I owned a convex example Bomber clasp made of a nickle silver alloy from Detlev, but was wondering on the fighter clasps.


I have handled quite a few clasps about two years ago and never recalled ever seeing one. Any help would be appriciated as well as any thoughts.

"convexed" by hand.

Thank you the response as ell as posting that fine loking bird. That was my thought, but I did not want to spill the beans, as I also never saw a case that would accomodate a convex piece.

i have this one and a night one trying to find pic

the night one knew id find it some where.as you see these never had the arrow over the top in center fixed on to the pieces,which if correct make me think late war.how ever they are 100% genuine that much i know

Tombak could be easily vaulted 'in the field'. Wouldn't catch so easily on all the stuff you were wearing.

i am glad you like the pics,i hope they are of help to you i have two short range night although the black on one has nearly worn off the others are day short range in same condition as shown.
