    cheap IAB original?

    Hello,

I bought this IAB in bargain price. So pin and catch are broken.
Is this badge original? I think it is genuine.

Original tombak small w Wurster. Pitty about the set up but still a very rare IAB to encounter!
                Kind regards,

                    Hi Guys

In looking at this one it appears the badge received a coating of dark blue paint at some point???

Where the paint has worn away we see a golden bronze color. Under that at worn places I can see gray. In looking at the reverse where there are deep gouged out spots, the material also appears gray.

This leads me to think that this is a zinc example. Wish we had better scans.

                    Best Regards, fischer

People,(guyver91 + Giel) where do you seeing tombak around sky sake?

Take a look on the back side.Where the bronze finish worn away wee can see the base material Zink. One can see even beginning of zinc plague on the corroded places.

There is however still another completely simple detail one the badge. At this detail you can differentiate whether a tombak Wurster or a Zink Wurster

Thus for me it is clear a Zink Wurster in bronze.

                      regards Michou

I agree with Michou and Don, a zinc piece!
