I had a great time at the MAX - I was SHOCKED to find a total of SEVEN real Army Flak Badges!
That said, six were priced between $750-1000 with the dealers not willing the budge one bit. I was able to get a marked R.S. at a VERY good price though, thus finally filling that hole. Oddly, the marking was scratched off the reverse. You can see the outline of the "R" through a loup - strange to have someone REMOVE a maker mark!
Still, I saw many, many more fakes than real, with the lizardman dominating the show. In fact one dealer had SIX lizardman fakes in one riker case on his table. Saddly he was at my presentation on fakes and I highlighted the lizardman - even after that he was still happy to sell them.
But it was a great show and I had a wonderful time walking the aisles with Tom and Chad.
