This unmarked badge appears to have been die-cast of either white metal or zinc and shows reasonably good detail. The areas below the swastika have been stamped-out. Most of the silver-plating remains with only wear to the high points. There is a slightly concave reverse. The hinge is a narrow, barrel-type assembly that is crimped into the back of the badge into which a thin, needle-type pin is inserted. The pin has a tapered, finished point. The retaining clasp is round wire soldered into an eyelet and hole at the bottom of the badge.
Is this badge a period original and can the maker be identified?
Thanks, in advance, for all input.
