Hollow back tank Assault badge, ever seen one of these?

I'm going to assume outside of "Made In India" stamp on it, everything points to this being not real, right?

Can't find a single credible example that matches this one. 99% sure it's fake.

Thoughts?

thought I saw the blob on the barrel but I've been blobbed . but now I see the big 'A' on the rev., must have been early and my eyes
full of sand.
